Storage sheds over 120 square feet require a building permit pretty much anywhere in California. (See this post for more information on this topic.) For a long time, Sequoia Sheds only built storage sheds that are 120 square feet or less, thus avoiding the building permit requirement.
But now we are pleased to be able to offer portable sheds larger than 120 square feet. So far, these larger sheds are only available to customers living in Tehama County. If you live in Tehama County, and wish to purchase a shed between 120 and 240 square feet, we can help! Sequoia Sheds now has engineered shed plans for sheds ranging in size from 12’x12′ up to 12’x20′. We will help you get the building permit, and we offer the service of building a pad for the shed. We will then deliver and anchor the shed for you.
The shed we currently offer in these larger sizes is called the Premium Ranch. It has an A-frame roof with a 5/12 pitch, and 7.5′ tall walls. The actual dimension of the floor of the shed is 11’6″ wide by however long the shed is. We have to keep the shed a bit narrower than 12′ so the actual width at the eaves does not exceed 12′. This is due to wide-load hauling restrictions.
If you live in Tehama County, but not in city limits, and are interested in getting a price on a Premium Ranch shed ranging in size from 12×12 up to 12×20, please give us a call at (530) 840-4465, or email us from our Contact Page.
And as always, we offer a full range of sheds styles sized 120 square feet or less to all customers in Northern California.
